Superintendent Talks to Students About the Making of a School Budget

Mr. Macri explained the school budget process, how it is developed, and the steps that need to be taken in order for it to be passed. Students were able to ask questions and see how economics and participation in government intersect. 

Tonight the district will conduct an open public hearing on the 2022-2023 school budget proposal at 7 p.m. in the LGI.

This year’s school budget and board vote is May 17. Voting will take place from 2 to 9 p.m. in the Voorheesville Middle School Foyer. We encourage voters to stop and take the quick exit survey after voting. Your feedback is important to us.
