Voorheesville senior Victoria Iacabucci and math teacher Stephanie Stoyle are being celebrated for making a difference.
Every year, the Capital Area School Development Association (CASDA) recognizes outstanding high school seniors throughout the greater Capital Region.
VCSD Class of 2022 Salutatorian, Victoria Iacabucci was given the distinction this year. Victoria has loved science throughout all of high school. She will be attending the University of South Carolina to pursue biochemistry and molecular biology. In addition to the sciences, she has taken interest in extracurriculars such as cross country and track and field, as well as musical activities, as she has been playing oboe for three years.
Students who are chosen for this honor then name a teacher that had a significant influence on their education. Victoria nominated Ms. Stephannie Stoyle. In her submission, Victoria said, “Ms. Stoyle has an efficient and clear teaching style that has helped me understand and retain difficult math concepts.”
