As previously noted, on April 8, portions of New York will be along the path of a solar eclipse. Locally, this will be experienced as a partial eclipse, occurring during our regular elementary school dismissal time. Based on reevaluation and careful consideration of additional factors, we have decided April 8 will be a half day for all students.
We wanted to get this information to you as quickly as possible so you can plan accordingly.
