At approximately 9:45 a.m. on May 13, internet connectivity and some phone service was lost at the elementary, middle, and high school when a cable was cut by a contractor working on construction on the new transportation facility. Crews are working to restore service as quickly as possible. In the interim, hot spots have been established in centralized areas to increase internet connectivity.
Although district phones continue to work internally, external phone service is impacted. Should the need arise, the district would be able to contact emergency services through cell phones. However, incoming calls to district phones will not come through until service is restored.
If a parent or guardian needs to reach to district, to contact student for an early pick-up or other urgent matter, please email our main offices:
Elementary: Joanne Murphy
Middle School: Amber Neidrauer
High School: Candy Hillmann
Additionally, hot spots have been established in the nurses offices. To contact the nurses, email:
Elementary School: Sarah O’Leary
Middle School and High School: Dorothy Martin
The district prepares for this potential for disruption in service and the facility is equipped to continue learning activities with as minimal interruptions in service as possible.
The district thanks parents and guardians for their patience and understanding.
