The VCSD Counseling Department invites students, staff and community members to celebrate the power of connection and light up the darkness on Wednesday, Dec. 18. Winter can be a time when many feel disconnected or isolated, but small actions remind us of the importance of relationships.
Be the Rainbow
Students and staff are encouraged to wear bright colors to school on Dec. 18 to show support for one another during the shortened daylight of December.
Shine a Light
During the evening on Dec. 18, the entire Voorheesville community is asked to turn on an outdoor light to celebrate the power of connection and be a light for others.
